Labor Certification Deadline of January 12, 2008

If you possess a labor certification that was approved prior to July 16, 2007, please be aware that the Department of Labor has established a 180-day validity period for all such certifications. The expiration date for these labor certifications is January 12, 2008. This means that Form I-140 must be filed with the USCIS prior to the expiration of the labor certification. All eligible I-140s must be received by the USCIS Service Centers by the close of business (5 pm) on Friday, January 11, 2008 in order to qualify under the January 12, 2008 cut-off.

Harrison Alo, Attorneys at Law, encourages everyone who has Labor Certifications that were approved prior to July 16, 2007 to file their I-140s before the deadline.
